Why this one matters
Every agency says "we treat your business like our own." This is the one project where that's literally true. RAD Exercise Physiology is Above Threshold's founder working as a clinical exercise physiologist — and the practice was built with exactly the process we sell: baseline, positioning, build, measure.
It's also where the Above Threshold name comes from. The threshold isn't a marketing metaphor we borrowed — it's the discipline we trained in.
The baseline
A new clinical practice in a market flooded with personal trainers and wellness coaches, where the phrase "exercise physiologist" means nothing to most people. No brand, no site, no audience. The positioning problem was the whole problem.
The work
- Positioning: refused the generalist trap — the practice treats three conditions only (blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, mental health), and says so on the homepage. Depth beats breadth, stated as a promise.
- Credibility architecture: every clinical claim on the site links to NHS guidance, NICE, or peer-reviewed research. "If I can't back it, I don't say it" is on the page — trust built structurally, not with stock photos.
- Web build: fast, distinctive site written around the questions people actually have ("what even is a clinical exercise physiologist?"), with one action — book a free consult.
- Content & SEO: condition-specific pages matched to how patients search.
Early readouts
The site has been live for under 90 days — which means it's in its baseline period, and we're not going to pretend otherwise. No inflated launch statistics, no vanity screenshots. The numbers are being logged from day one, and they'll be published here as they mature: search positions, enquiries, consults booked.
That's the same deal every Above Threshold client gets — measured from the start, reported when it's real.
What it proves
That the method produces a brand with a point of view, a site that reads like no template, and marketing claims that survive scrutiny — because the person who built it has to practice under them.
